Has wireless audio, USB, and mini jack inputs!
Innovation
Smartphones, tablets, laptops, and other wireless audio and USB enabled devices have rapidly become the program source of convenience for corporate A.V presentations, seminars, musicians, DJs, entertainment venues, system demonstrations and testing, and many other audio playback applications.
To cope with all these audio sources. ARX introduces the MIXXMaker—a new multi-channel mic/line master mixer. This unique device features wireless audio, USB and mini jack inputs, 2 mic/line inputs, 2 stereo line inputs, and left/right (or zone 1 and 2) master-level controls, as well as an auxiliary mono output with its own level control.
That's a lot of Inputs and a lot of control in a compact, user-friendly unit only 1 RU tall! Great features The wireless audio receiver, USB connector, and the mini jack inputs all have their own individual level controls.
Each microphone channel on the MIXXMaker has a balanced low noise mic input, plus individual gain and level controls. The mic input can also be switched to be a line input as required. Switchable phantom power is also available on both mic inputs. The stereo line inputs 3/4 and 5/6 each have rear-panel input trim controls, as well as front panel output level controls, and their inputs are industry-standard RCA-type connectors. Additionally, there are left and right master controls, and a mono L+R Aux Output with its own level control. The left and right master output XLR connectors can also be switched to mono if required, by a rear-panel switch. The rear panel also has a connector for a push-to-talk jack and a priority override ducker switch for channel 1. Pressing this switch in will duck the level of the other channels by 20 dB when channel 1 is used.
LED Indicators The front panel has LED indicators for wireless audio (see Specifications below), USB active, priority override enabled, phantom power enabled, outputs switched to mono, and AC power.
AC Power It is available as a 100 to 120V AC model or a 220 to 240V AC model, and AC power is connected to the unit via a standard three-pin IEC connector, with built-in fuse and voltage change switch.
The ARX MIXXMaker is an intuitive, user-friendly master mixer, capable of handling all commonly used current audio interfaces. In other words, a total solution to today’s install requirements. More...

Many educational institutions such as colleges, universities and high schools are expected to provide downloadable recordings—podcasts—of lectures and classes, for students to access at all times on the local area network. These recordings are typically taken from the classroom/lecture theatre sound system and saved to a computer in real time.
Problem 1:
Getting the correct recording level is hard, given that the level requirements are different from those of speakers.
Problem 2:
Maintaining a steady input level to the computer requires continual monitoring to prevent digital overload.
The Solution
Introducing the new UniMIX from ARX! Six balanced XLR mic/line input channels with individual level controls, plus a dedicated stereo RCA jack line in channel.
Each mic/line input has infinity to +6 dB of Level available on the front panel, as well as a 10 to 50 dB Input Gain control. The stereo line input channel has a –10 to +10 dB level trim control, to allow accurate matching of any line level signals.
On the rear panel, each of the 6 electronically balanced mic inputs can be switched to line via individual switches.
Multiple Masters
For the room system, the UniMIX has 2 balanced XLR outputs, with three-way EQ and its own Master Level control.
The recording outputs are stereo balanced XLRs, transformer-isolated to prevent ground loops and associated noise.
The Recording Master also has its own automatic gain control circuitry. Specially tailored parameters ensure that levels remain constant, irrespective of mic placement and user technique.
The result is a consistent level for the recording, providing increased intelligibility, removing the need for full-time monitoring and the risk of overloading and distortion.
The final master control feeds the main signal to a transformer isolated Balanced XLR auxiliary output. This can be used for future expansion, remote monitoring, or for feeding a wireless transmitter or another device.
Global phantom power is available on all Microphone inputs with a rear panel switch with associated front panel status LED.
Wide Dynamic Range
Internally, careful attention to the signal path design, using precision components found in high-end mixing consoles, has resulted in a unit with very wide dynamic range. The UniMIX has enough headroom to cope with the hottest line signal, and better than digital noise specifications. More...
For the installation contractor, accurately mixing line level audio signals has never been easy. Using the wrong product can lead to lack of headroom, vastly differing input levels, uneven output levels, RF breakthrough—the problems have been seemingly endless. Until now, that is!
The Solution
Introducing the MaxiMIX from ARX: Two independent mixdown groups, each consisting of four line inputs with individual level controls and RF filters. Both groups can be linked for a mono eight-channel mix. Each input has up to +6 dB of gain available, and full attenuation to allow matching of any line level signals.
Balanced Inputs and Outputs
In Stereo mode, each of the four electronically balanced inputs combine into fully balanced Master outputs, each of which has two male XLR sockets. In mono mode all Eight inputs mix down to a single linked pair of master outputs
Wide Dynamic Range
Internally, careful attention to the signal path design has resulted in a unit with wide dynamic range, enough headroom to cope with the hottest line signal, and better than digital noise specifications
Universal AC Power
AC power range is a universal 100 to 120V or 220 to 240V AC, and is connected to the unit via a standard three-pin IEC connector, with built-in fuse and voltage change switch.
A typical MaxiMIX application would be as an installation master mixer, combining live band mix, disco, KTV, and Audio-for-Video signals. In this way, they can all run independently of each other through the one speaker system.
Other applications include using it as a line sub-mixer for external effects units, and as a keyboard, drum machine, or other electronic instruments sub-mixer.
Accurate and compact, the MaxiMIX's unique combination of ultra-low distortion, low noise, and high headroom makes it the ideal installation line mixer. More...

Innovation
ARX introduces the MIXX 4 Channel Microphone/Line Mixer, with three-way EQ on all four channels. It's the companion product to the MIXXMaster: two innovative products using the exclusive ARX "open buss" architecture which allows mixing and zoning systems of any complexity to be easily constructed using only two standard products.
Each MIXX can be used as a standalone audio mixer, but when used together with the MIXXMaster they form a powerful mixing/zoning system second to none in simplicity and total flexibility.
You can link up multiple MIXX units to a MIXXMaster, or link multiple MIXXMaster units together. Simply by designating master or slave operation with a rear-mounted switch, the MIXX system can be configured to suit your exact requirements.
Great Features
Each Microphone/Line input has three-way EQ and pan controls, plus balanced low noise microphone preamps. All channels also have a direct output, ideal for recording applications. Switchable phantom power is available on all four mic Inputs. More...
