ARX is excited to present
the new ARX
USB I/O
VSR a true Plug and
Play USB 24 bit High Resolution digital/analog pro
audio interface. VSR stands
for Variable Sample Rate - which allows the unit to
record and playback at three different sample rates:
44.1, 48, and 96 KHz.
Plug and
Play or Install ASIO Driver - your
choice
The ARX
USB
I/O VSR
installs as a fully compatible generic USB audio device. The
default sample rate of 24 bit 44.1 KHz requires no
special driver program installation on Mac OSX, Win XP, and
Win7 or 8 - just plug and play. To run the expanded Hi Res
sample rates of 48 and 96 KHz, an
ASIO driver is available for download from the
ARX website.

In response to many requests
from users of our original USB DI who have been using it for
specific applications, ARX is excited to present the new
ARX USB DI-HP - everything that the original
USB DI was, with the addition of a headphone output with its
own level control. It is still a true Plug and Play 24
bit digital to analog pro audio interface, removing
the need to use any existing sound card outputs, but now its
output level can be monitored quietly and
accurately. Naturally it still features
full transformer balanced output isolation to eliminate
earth loops / ground hum and other extraneous interaction
noise and distortion.
The addition of the
headphone output and control allows easy personal monitoring
of the audio signal passing through the USB
DI-HP without the need for Monitor Loudspeakers. See SEPCS Here
As of January 2013 the USB I/O has been updated with 24 bit High Resolution ADC & DAC's.
In keeping with our policy of creating essential audio interfaces, ARX is excited to present the new USB I/O - a true Plug and Play USB digital/analog pro audio interface. It removes the need to use any existing sound card outputs, with their inherent noisy environment and problematic grounding. A professional level USB Direct Box.
The ARX USB I/O features full transformer balanced Inputs and Outputs, providing the isolation required to eliminate earth loops / ground hum and other extraneous interaction noise and distortion. It installs as a fully compatible generic USB audio device, requiring no special driver program installation on Mac OSX, Win XP, Windows 7 and Vista. The front panel has Left and Right transformer balanced analog XLR Input and Output connectors that connect to any standard balanced analog inputs and outputs. On the rear panel there is a Type B USB connector, as well as a ground lift switch and a status LED that indicates the USB I/O is connected and operating. It is ideal for interfacing any USB equipped computer (especially notebook/laptop computers) with the balanced inputs and outputs of professional sound systems. Security features include Kensington®-type computer lock slot and optional bracket kit for under-table mounting. The ARX USB I/O is available in Dual Channel format, and is hand made in Australia.

WIRELESS Media Active Direct Box
The Professional wireless audio interface for SmartPhones, Computers and Tablets

ACTIVE DIRECT BOXES AND RACK UNITS
Working
with the pedigree of our industry standard DI Plus and DI Plus 2 Direct
Boxes, we've redesigned and updated our circuitry and packaging, and
the end result is our new DI Plus RC Direct Box.
We've powered these new products with internal long life NiMH (Nickel
Metal Hydride) rechargeable. NiMH batteries exhibit no memory effect and
a long life recharge cycle.
As a manufacturer, ARX is well aware of the problems of disposing of
batteries in an environmentally friendly way so we've powered the DI
Plus2 RC with an internal long life NiMH rechargeable battery that can
be charged off either the phantom power on the mic line, or via the 12V
DC input, removing battery "throw away" as an issue.
The new DI Plus RC features a low noise high impedance input buffer with
switchable 20dB Pad, and a low distortion high current output stage
able to drive the longest cable runs. It represents another major step
forward in active direct boxes. Packaged in a single channel stand-alone
format, the DI Plus RC represents a fresh look at active D.I. concepts.
Precision engineered
Ultra quiet, ultra clean circuitry delivers maximum headroom whatever
the signal. Premium grade components, plus an all-steel chassis gives
excellent hum and noise specifications and superb audio quality in a
tough, roadworthy package.
Managing Levels
The DI Plus RC features a Normal gain high impedance unbalanced input on
the front panel, running to a balanced XLR output on the rear. There is
also a separate -40dB Speaker Level input for signal coming from the
External (auxiliary) speaker output of an amplifier. A global Pad switch
drops both the normal input and the speaker input by a further 20dB,
making it suitable for all applications, from the softest keyboard to
the hottest broadcast levels. Whether you're a Studio or Live Sound
engineer, installation contractor, or broadcast engineer, you want all
the dynamics and clarity of the original sound source transferred to the
mixing console. The ARX DI Plus RC provides a rugged, no-compromise
solution to all direct injection and signal balancing requirements.
Automatic Phantom switching
The DI Plus RC will automatically switch itself to the console's own
Phantom Power, if available, and an LED will indicate this mode. Turn
the Phantom Power off and it will instantly revert back to battery mode.
Rugged all-steel case
A lot of direct boxes are fitted into brittle cast alloy cases. Not this
one! The tough all-steel inner and outer chassis of the DI Plus RC
provide excellent RF/EMF shielding while making it a sturdy, heavy duty
unit that is hard to dislodge, and hard to leave behind.

microphone or line signal to 6 individual outputs or zones, with an XLR
Loop Out to send the microphone output to a mixing desk as well.
Switchable phantom power and Gain trim for the Mic input completes this
new package
On the front panel, each channel has 2 IN/OUT jacks, a level control
from infinity (off) through 0dB to +15dB gain, and a Clip indicator
LED.
The Master section has a Master volume control and status LED’s
indicating whether the unit is in DI+Mixer or in Splitter mode. For your
convenience there is also a balanced jack Mix output on the front
panel, in parallel with the balanced XLR Mix output on the rear panel.
Balanced Outputs
On the rear, each channel has an XLR Balanced output, with
associated Ground lift switch and status LED, to isolate the chassis and
electronic grounds.
The Master section has a Balanced XLR output on the rear, and a
Balanced Jack output on the front panel. In addition there is a Balanced
XLR input with a switch to put the unit in either DI+Mixer or into
Splitter mode. In Splitter mode there is a switch to toggle between
Microphone and Line level input, as well as a Phantom Power switch and a
Loop Output for a microphone signal to go to a Mixing desk as well
